Aurora, OH (May 2, 2022) – A woman was killed and a man injured following a motorcycle crash involving an allegd drunk driverin Aurora on Friday night, April 29. The deadly accident took place on OH-82 at around 7 p.m.
It was reported that 29-year-old Ryan Tucholsky was operating a motorcycle headed eastbound on the highway when he was rear-ended by another vehicle. The at-fault driver, 26-year-old Nicholas Monachino, fled the scene.
The impact caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway, and Tucholsky and his passenger were ejected from the bike. Tucholsky was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center for the treatment of life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 40-year-old Sara Tartaglio, was killed in the crash.
Monachino was later apprehended and charged in connection with the deadly accident. An ongoing investigation is underway.
