Munson Twp, OH (September 28, 2021) – A Chagrin Falls man was killed and two other victims injured following an auto accident in Munson Township on Saturday, September 25.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, alcohol was a factor in the fatal accident. Local reports revealed that 20-year-old Ladislav T. Lubanovich of Newbury Township was traveling in a 2004 Toyota Tundra at the time of the crash. While driving on Auburn Road, the driver left the roadway.
He overcorrected and crashed into two mailboxes, two trees, and a pine tree on the left side of the street. The driver suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. A front-seat passenger, 19-year-old Montgomery Myer of Chagrin Falls, suffered fatal injuries. Another passenger, 21-year-old Hunter E. Gerber of Burton, also sustained serious injuries.
No further updates have been provided. Local officials are handling the ongoing crash investigation.
