Cleveland, OH (July 22, 2022) – A young girl was killed after being hit on a bicycle in Cleveland on Thursday evening, July 21. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of Track Road and Lufkin Avenue at around 10:08 p.m.
A 3-year-old girl was riding a bike headed southbound with a group of riders when she was struck by a northbound motor vehicle. The at-fault driver fled the scene. The young girl suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other cyclists, a 10-year-old and a 27-year-old were hurt and taken to a local hospital. No additional information on the identity of the at-fault party has been provided.
