Cleveland, OH - Woman Dies After Being Rescued from Fire on 170th St

Cleveland, OH (July 21, 2022) – A woman was killed following a house fire in the Cleveland area on Tuesday, July 19. The deadly incident was reported at the 1240 block of 170th Street early that morning. 

EMS and firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze. Officials were able to rescue a woman from the burning structure. She was transported to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead. 

The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed at this time. The cause of the fire is still unknown. 

An ongoing investigation into the deadly fire is underway.
