Cleveland, OH (November 16, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident involving a man in a wheelchair was reported in Cleveland on Friday, November 12. The fatal crash occurred on Buckeye Road near Woodhill Road.
An 87-year-old man was traveling in a motorized wheelchair at the intersection at the time of the accident. He was reportedly struck by a westbound motor vehicle. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene to render aid to the crash victims.
The injured party was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased party has not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing crash investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
