Cleveland, OH (April 11, 2022) – A local man was killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Cleveland on Saturday evening, April 9. The fatal crash was reported on Interstate 90 near W. 98th Street at around 11 p.m.
The pedestrian was walking along the highway when he was struck by an oncoming car. Emergency responders were called to the scene. The injured party was pronounced dead by attending medical personnel.
The deceased party was later identified as 68-year-old Edward J. McDermott of Cleveland. No additional information has been released at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is underway.
