Broadview Heights, OH (July 5, 2024) – Emergency crews were called to provide help at the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the Broadview Heights area on Wednesday, July 3. Police and firefighters were called to the scene at around 12:30 p.m.
Official reports indicate that a red 2019 vehicle and a black 2012 BMW X5 were exiting Interstate 77 southbound using the exit ramp at East Wallings Road. As the driver of the red vehicle stopped for a red light at the intersection, it was rear-ended by the BMW. One person was injured in the accident. Emergency medical services provided care to 75-year-old Robert Edward Seith. The injured person was then transported to Metro Hospital in Broadview Heights. The driver of the BMW was cited for a speed violation. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
