Avon Lake, OH (November 26, 2021) – On Wednesday evening, November 24, a man was killed following a multi-vehicle crash in Avon Lake. The fatal accident took place on OH-83 at around 7:30 p.m.
Local authorities were called to the scene of a three-vehicle collision. When they arrived, they found 41-year-old Paul Brumley with serious head injuries. He was transported to University Hospital St. John Medical Center in Westlake where he was later pronounced dead.
Brumley had reportedly crashed with a 2006 Honda Accord before colliding head-on with a 2020 Chevy Equinox. The area was closed for two hours while emergency responders were on site. The other two drivers refused medical aid.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is currently in progress.
