Burton Twp, OH (May 20, 2022) – There were several injuries reported following a collision in the Burton Township area on Monday night, May 16. The accident was reported at the corner of OH-168 and Shedd Road at around 8:55 p.m.
Local reports revealed that a buggy was headed southbound on the highway when it was hit from behind by a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu driven by a 33-year-old Warren woman. The 13-year-old boy driving the buggy and his 20-year-old female passenger were hurt in the crash. Both parties were transported to University Hospitals in serious condition.
The driver of the Chevy was also injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. No additional information on the accident has been reported at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
