Garfield Heights, OH (January 10, 2022) – Authorities have released the identity of the man who was killed following a multi-vehicle crash in Garfield Heights on Friday morning, January 7. The deadly accident occurred at the intersection of Turney Road and Wallingford Avenue at around 11 a.m.
Four vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. Two of the vehicles crashed head-on. Emergency responders were called to the scene, and one of the victims had to be extricated from their vehicle. Local reports later revealed that 53-year-old James D. Meadows sustained fatal injuries in the impact. No additional updates have been released at this time.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
