Willowick, OH (June 14, 2022) – Three people were hurt following a traffic accident in the Willowick area on Monday afternoon, June 13. The crash was reported on OH-2 at around 1:36 p.m.
Firefighters and emergency crews were called to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties, and the on-ramps were shut down while paramedics were present. Four vehicles were reportedly involved in the accident. One person was trapped inside a van and had to be extricated by emergency personnel.
Two other people were also injured and taken to a local hospital for aid. One victim was flown to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition. The circumstances leading to the crash are still unknown.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
