Uniontown, OH (May 12, 2022) – Two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash in the Uniontown area on Thursday morning, May 12. The accident was reported at the intersection of Interstate 77 and Graybill Road at around 7:20 a.m.
Local reports revealed that an Ohio Department of Transportation vehicle was on the highway when it was hit by a dump truck. The impact caused an explosion, and both vehicles caught fire. Both drivers were extricated by sheriff’s deputies at the scene.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of life-threatening injuries. No additional information has been made public at this time.
