Shalersville Twp, OH (April 1, 2022) – A reservist in the U.S. Air Force was killed following a head-on crash in Shalersville Township on Sunday, March 27. The fatal accident was reported on OH-44.
Local reports revealed that 42-year-old John Jacob Predis of Pennsylvnia was driving a 2014 Toyota when he lost control. He crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a 2006 Ford F-450 pickup truck.
Predis suffered fatal injuries in the crash. The driver of the Ford was injured and taken to a local hospital for treatment. No additional information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the fatal crash is underway.
