Car Accidents in Ohio
Every day, innocent people suffer life-altering injuries in car accidents that could have been avoided. It is troubling to see how negligence on the part of drivers leads to crashes that cause long-lasting harm to victims. These accidents often stem from common factors that are preventable with more responsible driving.
- Failure to Yield: Many collisions happen because drivers fail to give the right of way when required, leading to serious accidents and injuries. This simple mistake can result in devastating consequences for everyone involved.
- Distractions: Drivers who take their attention away from the road, whether due to phones, passengers, or other distractions, increase the risk of colliding with nearby vehicles. Distraction remains one of the leading causes of accidents.
- Impairment: Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs severely impairs judgment and reaction time, making it far more likely that a driver will strike other vehicles and cause harm to others.
