Euclid, OH (October 20, 2021) – A fire at a senior living facility in Euclid resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on Sunday, October 17.
The fire took place at the Indian Hills Senior Community located at the 1500 block of E. 193rd Street. Emergency responders were sent to the scene at around 10:30 p.m. that evening. The fire was reportedly emanating from the 225 apartment.
While doing a sweep of the building, firefighters located a deceased 57-year-old woman. The deceased was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead. A 72-year-old man and a 93-year-old woman were treated at the scene for smoke inhalation.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly fire is underway.
