Elyria, OH (June 15, 2022) – A firefighter was left with injuries after responding to a home in the Elyria area on Monday morning, June 13. The incident occurred at a residence at the 100 block of Virginia Avenue at around 8:15 a.m.
Responding firefighters were called to the scene of a fire and were able to quickly get it under control. None of the residents of the home were hurt in the blaze. However, a firefighter at the scene was injured. He was transported to University Hospitals and later released.
No further information has been provided. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
