Elyria, OH (October 13, 2021) – A fire at an apartment complex in Elyria ended in a fatality.
The incident took place at the Colonnade Apartments located at the 238 block of Washington Avenue. Local authorities were notified of the blaze at around 2:30 a.m. that morning. Firefighters and paramedics were sent to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties.
A man inside the unit was reportedly killed in the fire. At this time, the identity of the deceased party has not been disclosed. No further information on the accident has been provided.
