Cleveland, OH (October 27, 2021) – A hit-and-run accident in Cleveland resulted in the death of a pedestrian on Tuesday, October 26.
The incident occurred at the crossing of St. Clair Avenue and E. 78th Street. The fatal crash was reported early that morning at around 2 a.m. The victim was traveling east when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle.
The vehicle was described as possibly being a gray Jeep Grand Cherokee. The injured pedestrian was transported to University Hospitals where they were later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased party has not yet been released.
An ongoing accident investigation is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
