Cleveland, OH (September 2, 2024) – A major motor vehicle accident reported in the Cleveland area claimed the life of one person while leaving multiple others injured. The collision took place during the morning hours on Sunday, September 1st.
Reports provided by the Cleveland Fire Department indicate that six vehicles collided on Interstate 480 during the morning hours. The incident prompted authorities to close off a large portion of the roadway at around 820 a.m. One person involved in the accident, identified as 22-year-old Michelle M. Jackson, was fatally injured in the crash. She was pronounced deceased by authorities. Six additional victims were injured in the crash and were treated for injuries while at the scene.
