Cleveland, OH (February 10, 2024) – A two-vehicle crash early Sunday morning, February 9, left one man dead and sent five others to the hospital.
Cleveland Police responded to the accident near West 60th Street and Memphis Avenue at approximately 1:45 a.m. Authorities say a 64-year-old man was traveling west on Memphis Avenue when he attempted to turn south into a parking lot. As he made the turn, an eastbound vehicle struck his car.
When officers arrived, the 64-year-old driver was unresponsive. Cleveland EMS pronounced him dead at the scene. Five people in the second vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
