Cleveland, OH (January 25, 2022) – A man was injured following a house fire in Cleveland on Friday morning, January 21. The incident occurred at a residence located at the 600 block of E. 117th Street at around 3:50 a.m.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a 2.5 story home that was engulfed in smoke. A 62-year-old man involved in the fire suffered injuries. He was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for the treatment of sustained injuries.
The blaze inflicted roughly $35,000 in damages. No updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided at this time.
An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
