Cleveland, OH (September 16, 2024) – One person has lost their life as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Friday evening in the Cleveland area. The police and firefighters were called to the scene on September 13.
Official reports indicate that a total of four vehicles collided on Interstate 90 E. near East 55th Street. The Cleveland Police Department immediately shut down the road while working to remove the four vehicles that were involved in the accident. A 30-year-old woman involved in the accident was critically injured and transported to University Hospital for emergency care. A 60-year-old woman was transported to Metro Hospital for treatment of injuries. One additional victim was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash. A total of seven additional victims refused to care. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
