Cleveland, OH (October 8, 2021) – On Wednesday, October 6, a young child lost their life and an adult was injured following a house fire in Cleveland.
The incident occurred at a residence located at the corner of E. 68th Street and Harvard Avenue. Firefighters were sent to the scene at around midnight. Two adults and three children inside the structure were able to escape safely.
An 8-year-old was reportedly killed in the blaze. A firefighter was sent to the hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The cause of the fire has not been reported at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
