Broadview Heights, OH (March 4, 2024) – One person was transported to an area hospital with injuries following a motor vehicle accident that occurred on Saturday morning in Broadview Heights. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of the accident at approximately 9:20 a.m. on March 2.
According to official reports, a black 2012 Ford Explorer and a white 2019 International LT517 were both traveling west on Interstate 80, the Ohio Turnpike. For unknown reasons, the Ford Explorer collided with the International LT517. The impact of the collision caused one of the vehicles to strike the concrete barrier and the guardrail near mile marker 171. One person involved in the accident was injured. The victim, 19-year-old Kaydence Grace Borden, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for emergency treatment. The incident is under investigation.
