Cleveland, OH (April 12, 2022) – A street race in Cleveland ended in a deadly pedestrian crash on Sunday morning, April 10. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of Superior Avenue and E. 108th Street at around 2:25 a.m.
Two drivers were reportedly racing in the same direction when they sideswiped each other. One of the motorists reportedly hit a woman on the roadway. Footage from the scene showed that the incident involved a white and gray sedan.
The injured pedestrian suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. No additional information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly accident is underway.
