Cleveland, OH (December 30, 2021) – A man and his dog were killed following a structure fire in Cleveland on Friday, Christmas Eve. The deadly accident occurred at a residence at the 1000 block of Thrush Avenue near West 105th Street at around 4:30 p.m.
Firefighters were at the scene to help extinguish the blaze. Emergency responders found a 48-year-old man with serious burns all over his body. The man and his dog sustained fatal injuries in the fire, and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased party has not been revealed at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly fire is underway.
