Head-On Collisions in Ohio
Despite accounting for less than 2% of all reported car accidents, head-on collisions account for more than 10% of all road deaths each year. The majority of these collisions are caused by distracted or negligent drivers who swerve into opposing traffic lanes. When a driver merges into opposing traffic, they risk colliding head-on with another vehicle, which can be deadly even at low speeds.
If you were injured in an accident caused by someone else’s negligence, you have the right to file a negligence claim for your injuries. In Ohio, all drivers are required to act in a manner that does not endanger others. Failure to do so may be construed as negligence, and those who have been injured may be entitled to compensation. A personal injury claim can be pursued with the assistance of an experienced attorney.
Pursuing a personal injury claim can be a long and difficult process for those with little legal knowledge. You are not required to go it alone. A knowledgeable Freedom Township car accident lawyer can assist you in obtaining the maximum amount of compensation available under the law.
