Elyria, OH (September 30, 2021) – The victims of a fatal crash with a semi-truck in Elyria on Thursday, September 23, have been identified.
Local authorities have revealed that Stephanie Days and Betsy Days were killed in the accident. Several vehicles were involved in the crash. The victims were traveling in a Dodge Caravan on OH-57 when they were hit by a Freightliner semi-truck near Abbe Road.
The trucker, 57-year-old Kenneth Burdick of Lorain, then hit a Cadillac SRX and Volkswagen Atlas. Both drivers of these vehicles, 38-year-old Aaron Hykes and 40-year-old Daniel Mooney, were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. No further injuries were reported.
