As part of the Joseph Law Group, Cleveland lawyer Jill Prough specializes in automobile accident and other personal injury cases, including premises liability. With active attorney licensure in both Ohio and Michigan, Jill is uniquely qualified to assist Ohioans who have been injured in a car accident while traveling in Michigan. Throughout Jill’s career, she has tried several cases and is experienced in all aspects of litigation practice. It has been her privilege to represent injured victims from all walks of life who have been injured in car accidents or due to someone else’s negligence. Jill received her bachelor of arts degree in Paralegal Studies from Eastern Michigan University, graduating as the Outstanding Paralegal Student of the Year. She went on to obtain her master’s degree in Public Administration, also from Eastern Michigan University. In 2007, Jill graduated magna cum laude from Ave Maria Law School.
Before working with the Joseph Law Group, Jill practiced law in the State of Michigan for 10 years. She has broad experience in personal injury and litigation defense, having worked initially for a successful plaintiff’s personal injury firm and then a premier defense firm in Detroit, Michigan. She most recently worked as staff counsel for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company in Southfield, Michigan. In addition to managing a sizeable case load, Jill was responsible for probating State Farm’s Southfield office settlements.
Through her local church, Jill volunteers her time and resources to assist at-risk youth and underprivileged families in the Cleveland area. Jill is also active in the Adult Congenital Heart Association, which works to improve the lives of congenital heart disease patients.
