Cleveland, OH (April 18, 2022) – A man was arrested in connection with a fatal crash in Cleveland on Sunday morning, April 17. The deadly accident was reported at the intersection of E. 79th Street and Carnegie Avenue at around 3 a.m.
A 23-year-old man was driving when he ran a red light at the intersection. He was speeding when he crashed into a Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the Hyundai was transported to University Hospitals where he was later pronounced dead.
The deceased party was later identified as 25-year-old Sharde Stubbs. The other driver was taken into custody by local authorities.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
