Canton, OH (January 14, 2022) – A collision involving a stolen van in Canton ended in a fatality on Thursday, January 13. The deadly crash took place at the intersection of 4th Street NE and Harrison Avenue NE at around noon.
The suspects drove away after stealing a van. The van ran a red light and collided with another vehicle at the intersection. The accident resulted in the death of 42-year-old Jason Robison of Canton.
The suspect driver, 36-year-old Andrew M. Taggart, and his passenger, 34-year-old Jacob Lang, were taken into custody. Both parties are facing multiple charges in connection with the deadly accident.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the fatal crash is underway.
