Streetsboro, OH (January 13, 2022) – Early on Thursday morning, January 13, a man was killed following a house fire in Streetsboro. The deadly incident occurred at a residence located at the 1000 block of Gaynelle Avenue at around 1:45 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found that the flames were quickly spreading throughout the structure. The severity of the blaze left them unable to get inside and rescue trapped occupants. The fire was extinguished, and emergency responders were initially unable to find anyone inside.
After a more thorough investigation was performed, the body of a 57-year-old male was found. The identity of the deceased party is currently pending notification of next of kin. No additional information has been provided.
An investigation into the cause of the deadly fire is underway.
