Westlake, OH (May 10, 2022) – A 16-year-old Avon girl suffered serious injuries after being involved in a rollover crash in Westlake on Monday night, May 9. The accident took place at the Cleveland MetroParks Bradley Woods Reservation at around 9:30 p.m.
The victim was riding as the passenger in a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old boy. The car was traveling on White Oak Lane when the driver lost control. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned before hitting a tree.
The young girl was trapped inside and was rescued by people at the scene. She was rushed to a local hospital for the treatment of serious injuries. The victim’s name has been withheld due to her age.
An ongoing investigation into the accident is underway.
