Pepper Pike, OH (November 19, 2024) – A fatal motor vehicle accident reported in pepper pipe claimed the lives of two people, according to local news sources. Authorities were called to the scene just after midnight on Monday, November 18.
Reports from authorities indicate that a 2017 Toyota Tundra was traveling southbound on Interstate 271 when it collided with a 2024 GMC pickup truck. The incident prompted the closure of the roadway just north of Chagrin Boulevard. The drivers of both vehicles were injured and transported to area hospitals. The victims were identified as 29-year-old Curtis Houston of Garfield Heights and 32-year-old Henry Banks IV of Bedford Heights. Authorities confirmed that both victims passed away from their injuries after arriving. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
