Cleveland, OH (December 24, 2021) – Two women were injured after being hit by a driver in the Cleveland area on Friday morning, December 24. The crash was reported at around 2:30 a.m. on W. 25th Street near MetroHealth Hospital.
A Jeep was reportedly traveling on the roadway when the driver crashed into a minivan. The driver of the Jeep fled the scene. Two women riding inside the minivan were transported to a local hospital for treatment. One of the victims was reportedly in critical condition.
The at-fault driver is reportedly still at large. Authorities are looking into additional information concerning the identity of the motorist.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
