Cleveland, OH (October 9, 2023) – A hit-and-run accident took place in the Cleveland area on Sunday morning that left two people injured. The accident took place at around 6:30 a.m. on October 8.
Reports from the Cleveland Police Department show that a vehicle was traveling in the area of East 79th Street in the opportunity corner when it struck a 23-year-old man who was walking with a three-month-old child. The vehicle then fled the scene of the accident without stopping.
The two pedestrians were injured in the crash. Both victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment.
Authorities were able to locate the driver of the vehicle. The driver was arrested.
At this time, the crash is being investigated.
