Cleveland, OH (July 26, 2022) – A firefighter was injured while at the scene of a structure fire in the Cleveland area on Sunday, July 24.
The fire was reported at a residence located at the 13500 block of Ferris Avenue. Neighbors called firefighters to the fire. There were people reportedly inside the building. Firefighters were able to get the fire under control in roughly 25 minutes.
One firefighter sustained a burn to the neck and was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center for treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The source of the fire was reportedly an unattended stove.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is underway.
