Cleveland, OH (April 12, 2024) – A motor vehicle accident involving an RTA bus and an SUV sent at least one person to an area hospital with injuries. The accident occurred at around 12:30 a.m. on Friday.
According to official reports, an SUV and an RTA bus collided on Lakeshore Boulevard near the intersection of Windward Road. The impact of the crash caused multiple airbags in the SUV to deploy. The vehicle was severely damaged and had to be towed from the scene. Emergency medical services responded to the site of the accident to care for the injured victims. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further medical care. At this time, the accident is being investigated.
