Cleveland, OH (December 5, 2023) – A crash took place in the Cleveland area early Monday morning that sent several victims to area hospitals with injuries. The crash occurred just before 12:10 a.m. on December 4.
According to preliminary crash investigations, four vehicles collided on the westbound side of Interstate 490. The incident blocked multiple lanes of the road near West 7th Street. Multiple emergency medical service personnel, police, and firefighters responded to the scene of the crash. Several people were injured as a result of the accident. A 61-year-old female was transported to Metro Hospital as a trauma alert due to the extent of her injuries. An unknown number of additional victims were transported to local hospitals for care. At this time, the incident is being investigated.
