Warrensville Heights, OH (October 31, 2023) – The Warrensville Heights Police Department confirmed that 47-year-old Daniel Fazio, a local DJ, lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Saturday in the Warrensville Heights area.
At around 2:45 a.m. on October 28, calls for assistance came in regarding an automobile accident on Interstate 271.
According to officials, 31-year-old Luis Caban-Medina was driving his vehicle northbound on the southbound side of Interstate 270 during the early morning hours. As the vehicle proceeded through the area of Interstate 480 West, it collided with Fazio’s vehicle head-on.
Fazio and Caban-Medina were both fatally injured as a result of the collision. The two victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, the crash is being investigated by the Warrensville Heights Police Department.
