Cleveland, OH (July 1, 2022) – Two children suffered critical injuries after a two-vehicle collision in Cleveland on Thursday night, June 30. The accident took place at the intersection of E. 79th Street and St. Clair Avenue at around 11 p.m.
Local reports revealed that the 34-year-old driver of an SUV hit the left side of another vehicle containing four children. The SUV left the roadway where it crashed into a light pole. The car spun out, and two children were ejected.
All four children were hospitalized for treatment, and two were reportedly in critical condition. Both drivers were injured in the crash.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
