Cleveland, OH (July 8, 2022) – Two people riding a motorcycle were killed following a traffic accident in Cleveland on Thursday morning, July 7. The fatal crash was reported at the corner of Broadway Avenue near Aetna Drive at around 2:40 a.m.
Local reports revealed that a 2014 Mazda and a 2017 Honda were racing westbound when the Mada hit two people in a motorcycle. The driver and passenger of the Mazda fled the scene on foot. The driver of the Honda also fled.
The operator of the bike, 22-year-old Bobby Henry of Maple Heights, was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. His passenger, 32-year-old Brianca Palmer of Buffalo, New York, was pronounced dead at the scene.
An ongoing investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
