Cleveland, OH (October 2, 2023) – The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that 30-year-old Elyse Bodee of Cleveland, Ohio, lost her life as a result of an early morning pedestrian accident in the downtown area.
At around 2:26 a.m. on October 1, the Cleveland Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on West 9 Street in the city’s Warehouse District.
According to official reports, Bodee was walking home from a restaurant with her fiancé during the early morning hours. While walking in the 1300 block of West 9 Street near West St. Clair Avenue, she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman was severely injured as a result of the accident. She was pronounced deceased as a result of her injuries.
At this time, the accident is being investigated.
