Parma, OH (October 6, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Parma area on Wednesday morning sent multiple victims to area hospitals with injuries.
The accident occurred just after 1:00 a.m. on October 4.
Reports provided by the Parma Police Department show that an officer was involved in a pursuit of a vehicle in the area of Pearl Road and Stanford Avenue when the car crashed into three additional vehicles near the intersection.
The driver of the vehicle initially fled the scene on foot. However, authorities were able to apprehend them. A second driver at the scene was also arrested, as police believe that they were intoxicated at the time of the crash.
Two people were transported to area hospitals for emergency treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident is being investigated.
